Familie van tomatentelers
In 1966, Julien Vlaemynck started Vlaemynck Tomato Masters with 6,000 m2. They now have 19.5 ha of which 5.5 ha with LED lighting. Owners are Tom, Dirk, Johan and Herman Vlaemynck. They have been growing tomatoes since their start, amongst others for the quality label KKC for Carrefour. They grow several varieties and have a year-round production thanks to the illuminated cultivation.
